Authentic Transformation

OUR MISSION

HBC Youth is for 6-12th graders who are looking for a safe and fun place to deepen their relationship with Jesus. It is our desire that students would grow up into Jesus in every way (Ephesians 4:15). One of the primary ways that we do this is meeting together on Sunday evenings.

WHAT DO SUNDAY NIGHTS LOOK LIKE?

1 FOOD & GAMES

There is an optional dinner from 5:45-6pm for the kids who need dinner. We bring in Pizza Hut every week. From 6-6:40(ish) we will play a big game and have lots of fun! This time creates opportunity for students to connect with each other and for leaders to engage with the kids in a fun and casual setting

2 WORSHIP & MESSAGE

From 6:40-7:25, the group will then move into a time of corporate worship as well as hear a short expositional message from the Bible. For more information on what we are studying each week, email Ethan Jones below and he will add you to the monthly Youth Newsletter that outlines everything we are going through as a group.

3 SMALL GROUPS

From 7:25-8pm, girls and boys will split up into separate groups and spend time with their leaders in a more focused time of discipleship and discussion. This time is at the heart of our youth ministry as it provides opportunity for vulnerability and accountability in your student's faith.

WHAT IS THERE FOR MY MS/HS STUDENT ON SUNDAY MORNINGS?

On Sunday evenings, students will spend the first 30-45 minutes eating food, playing games, and hanging out. This time creates opportunity for students to connect with each other and for leaders to engage with the kids in a fun and casual setting. The group will then move into a time of corporate worship as well as hear a short expositional message from the Bible. Girls and boys will split up into separate groups and spend time with their leaders in a more focused time of discipleship and discussion.
